TALAN Productivity Tour — Measuring Before Improving
TALAN Productivity Tour — Measuring Before Improving
The experience was truly enriching. Concrete exchanges, sharp minds, and conversations that go well beyond the usual discourse.

The Core Message
One clear message came out of the conference: productivity starts with measuring yourself and structuring your actions. It sounds simple, but the depth of what that means in practice is what made this morning so valuable.
How?
The panel laid out a clear framework:
- Organizational diagnostics — You can't improve what you don't understand. Start with an honest assessment of where you stand.
- Team involvement — Productivity is not a top-down mandate. The people doing the work need to be part of the process.
- Engaged leadership — Leaders who are present, who listen, and who commit to the process make all the difference.
- Continuous training — The landscape shifts constantly. Investing in people is investing in output.
The Bigger Picture
Improvement doesn't rely solely on large investments — it rests on a thoughtful, deliberate approach. This vision aligns directly with the regional push for productivity and innovation in Trois-Rivieres: better coordinating the levers of the territory to help businesses increase their productivity sustainably.
